I am on a brink of a corporal corporate punishment that is the memorandum for habitual tardiness. Since today is a Monday, I exerted much effort to arrive at the office at least 30 minutes earlier. Though I am not really that excited coming to work, I find it energizing because I haven't committed tardiness since the start of July. But then, when I arrived, I was informed that we have no internet connection in our office. Whatever the reason, our technical support does not give any information about the outage.
Our group's decision at first was to use our idle time wisely by answering some practice English assessment test. But later, the corporate technical supervisors managed to provide a solution by sending us away from our headquarters. The idea was to send the most important editors to the new site, which is a sister company's office, so our operations will commence. At first I felt that I don't want to go to the ad hoc site, but upon learning that the site is near our house, I gladly joined the gang (as if I have any other choice).
When we arrive, standard security procedures were conducted and observed. But when we entered our workstations, it turns out that we were not yet properly connected to our client's network. I find it boring at first, but when our techies can't have any other options, they just let us do our "work". hehehe!
Well, the whole night our gang just did MafiaWars, Farmville and many other Facebook applications. We also did some YouTube, Dneero and blog! hehehe. I believe this is my reward for coming to work early! Yihaa!
